Happy Dragon Tavern

Where Alex lives at the beginning of the series. Owned by Mr. Roberts, Alex's stepfather. His stepbrother Todd also lives there. Alex's main chore is dishwashing. He goes here when he isn't on an adventure or in Alusia.

It is within walking distance of Sildan Lane and Mr Clutter's Bookstore.

It has at least three stories. Mr. Roberts has a study on the second floor (usually off limits to Todd and Alex.) After Alex's first adventure but before his second, he is able to use the third floor for practicing magic and as his own private room.
