Honor “is saying your will do something and then doing it...[and] keeping your word” (2:172). It is the most valued possession of an adventurer, even more than treasure. When the honor of a friend increases because of a kind deed of an adventurer, that adventurer’s honor also increases. Generosity also increases honor. “Giving another the safety of your bag without his consent is a loss of honor for both the person being protected and the holder of the bag” (2:239).
